NHL Tears ACL and LCL; RG3 Recovers from Lockout

Wait. Flip that.

Robert Griffin III had his surgery on his ACL and LCL on Wednesday, January 9th. Everyone’s favorite surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, performed the surgery and expects RG3 to be healed up in time for the NFL season.

I think a bigger concern right now is: The NHL starts on January 19th. Will RG3 be healthy enough to go to Caps games? We reached out to RG3 on twitter, but have not received a response as of yet.

The NHL season starts in less than 10 days. I know I speak for everyone when I say, “It’s about time.” The lack of hockey in everyone’s lives recently has caused so many problems in our day to day lives. If you don’t believe me, just look at the recent fiscal cliff crisis.

That has got to hurt.

That has got to hurt.

We wish you the best, RG3. And regardless of whether you’re healthy in 8 months time or not, we all know that you’ll be on the field.
