Winnipeg Jets At Washington Capitals 1/22/2012

  • Our Caps return home for their first game in DC since beating the Rangers in game 6 last May.
  • Adam Oates gets his first game behind the bench in DC.
  • Last Season, the Jets won 4 of 6 meetings with the Caps (very embarrassing in my opinion).
  • The Jets offense is really struggling to score so far this season, with only scoring 2 goals in their first 2 games.
  • The Capitals Penalty Kill looked terrible on Friday night with a 57.1% kill.
  • The Caps claim they need to get the early lead to be successful.
  • Jack Hillen (Upper body) is on the injured reserve while Brooks Laich continues to miss practices.

Fan News: @TheHornGuy announced that he is missing tonight’s game so he can visit the local strip club. It’s up to Caps fans to fill his often quiet void.

he really wants to see some strippers.

These plans are more important.

Prediction: With the Jets desperately needing a point from an OT loss, the Caps beat the Jets 3-2 in OT for their first win of the season.
